Auckland East West Link

This project leaded by Urbanism+ tested a range of options for creating an east west links across the Auckland isthmus with consideration to creating economic growth by creating stronger links betyween industry, the airport,state highways and linking communities top jobs. Each option  was tested against community, environment, economic growth, buildabilty, transportation options and public transport. Pocock design environments role was to review each option with consideration to environmental, landscape, ecological, historical, cycling and pedestrian opportunities and or impacts and then to feedback the analysis into the decision making process. Pocock helped with design testing of the short list of options to help select the final route option.
