Coromandel Peninsula Blue Print
The Coromandel Peninsula Blueprint, adopted by the Council in December 2009, is about managing change, growth and sustainable development on the Peninsula. The district-wide future management plan brings together a range of existing plans and the aspirations of the communities, and deals with key future issues such as environmental degradation and major flooding risk caused by rising sea levels. Craig Pocock led the work on open space and ecological networks at a regional scale and for individual towns on the peninsula as well as lead some of the initial workshops
