Cranbourne West Precinct Structure Plan
A structure plan two years in the making for this 780-hectare site south of Melbourne ended on a winning note, with NZ based Pocock Design Environment led multi-disciplinary team taking the plan successfully through the Growth Area Authority (GAA) Hearing (equivalent of NZ Environment Court), on behalf of City of Casey Council. PDE undertook large scale 3D modelling in order to assess the visual and CPTED impact of the key development initiatives such as the Employment Residential Interface. The final plan included 45 local reserves, 3 schools, over 340ha of residential and 440ha of industrial development land and detailed strategy documents for recreation, open space and stormwater networks.
