Crowley Rural Retreat

The main challenge of this design was to integrate a contemporary swimming pool into this old Dutch farm overlooking the Hudson River, without detracting from the rural and historic character of the farm while still meeting all the strict swimming pool fencing rules of New York State. The solution was carefully slot the pool into the space between two restored buildings and using the existing land topography to successfully blend this piece of outdoor heaven into the surrounding landscape.
