Growing Marlborough

This project involved a series of workshops and community consultations that provided urban growth plans for the next 25 years throughout the whole Marlborough Region. The scope included Northern Marlborough (Picton, Havelock, Inner Sounds Settlements, Ngakuta Bay), Southern Marlborough (Renwick, Wairau Valley, Grovetown, Spring Creek, Tuamarina, Rarangi, Seddon and Ward) and the Marlborough Sounds. Craig Pocock  led the landscape portion of the workshops and delivered regional strategies for open space and ecological networks, as well as the conceptual designs for key urban spaces within key town centres with a focus on delivering quality user experience and to encourage commercial investment in these town centres.
