Invercargill South Future Master Plan

The Invercargill South project developed out of an initiative led by a grass roots group of passionate locals who wanted to regenerate their community. Pocock Design Environment was brought on board to do a spatial study of the area and develop a master plan. During this process a number of workshops and presentations were held with the community, local schools, Council and Transit New Zealand to develop a vision for the community. This vision incorporated a range of strategies which include a streetscape upgrade, temporary park, public art, community HUB and pocket parks and is currently being implemented.
